Being a stay at home mom is a tough enough job. Though even through all of the hustle and bustle, tears and boogers, school meetings and relationship woes, many moms are finding they either need to work a job, or would like to get some extra income flowing. For those of you in this position, I want to offer you some options for getting an at home income started.

1. E-Commerce Store

This is really simple. Choose something you are good at doing or making, and turn it into an online store. Can you crochet or knit? Why not use your crafty side to capitalize on your extra time at home? No matter how big or small, we all have talents that can be used ot get an income going online.

2. Freelance Writing

You can use sites such as Odesk or Elance to get larger, well paying freelance writing jobs. There are plenty of jobs available, whether you are a novice or seasoned writing. Sites like Factoidz and Associated Content are also great sites to write freelance articles and build your portfolio.

3. Write Ebooks

Whether they are 10 pages, or 110 pages, ebooks are the information wave of the future. Choose topics that you know a lot about, or pick something new to research and write about. To make things easy, you can start out writing about parenting, or being a working mom. There is no limit to the subjects you can cover, and ebooks are often free to publish.

4. Affiliate Marketing

If you have a lot of friends, are decent with sales and you don't mind spending a few hours a day sending out emails, affiliate marketing might be a good addition to your work at home work schedule. There are lots of programs out there, and some of them are scams, so make sure you check with the BBB before buying into an Affilate marketing plan. Once you find a good one though, roll with it and watch the doe roll in!

5. Services

Do you have a service you are good at preforming, that you wouldn't mind providing for people? House cleaning, laungry services and catering are great examples of past services that at home mom's have provided. Think about something you are good at, and create a website where future customers can find you.

Remember, to make a work at home business work, you have to have the will and motivation. Those two things are really the only things that matter. The rest is just a matter of accomplishing your ill through your motivation.
